The building envelope and individu-al structures are designed to the entire object it was as energy- consuming as possible, and do not pump irreparably by nature its natural resources in a larger quantity than necessary.
Computational assessment of structural building materials in terms of energy performance of the building
Křenek, Daniel ; TROJAN,, Karel (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
Theme of the diploma thesis is computational assessment of structural building materials in terms of energy performance of the building. The history and types of the objects with low energy performance are described. There are listed elements of constructionally energetic concept with low energy performance and overview of building materials used for their construction. In the practical part a selected building was tested for energy performance by legislation. Then two structural material solutions on selected detached house are compared by using a simulation program.
Energy self-sufficient houses
Šošolíková, Jana ; Aigel, Petr (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis deals with the energy self-sufficient houses compared with the low-energy, passive and active construction. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to assess the operational and investment costs compare with the energy of another buildings and other structures.
Low-energy building
Lattenberg, Marek ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis "Low-energy building" presents low-energy construction trends and their price comparision with conventional contruction. This thesis defines basic low-energy building terms, both building and construction work evaluation concepts and specifics of low-energy construction. Practical outcome is comparision between passive and conventional buildings, including economic appraisal.
Sportovní centrum "Fit Body"
Janíček, Vít ; Jelínek, Petr (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
Master thesis processes documentation for the realization of the new building of the multi-functional sporting centre. Object is designed as the two storey building with the external thermal insulation system ETICS. Object is designed according to the appropriate legislation. Object fulfills demands for the low-energy standard. Building is without cellar with the flat warm roof. Load bearing constructions of the floor ceilings are made out of prestressed concrete panels SPIROL. Load bearing construction of the hall roof is made of the glulam timber beams and purlins with the bracing.
Object of civic amenities
Zachovalová, Jana ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
Submitted diploma thesis prepares project documentation for the construction of a hotel building with a restaurant, which is located in the central built-up area of the town called Letovice situated in the South Moravian region. The solved building is partially basement with three above-ground floors covered by a flat vegetation roof. The hotel is designed with 23 accommodation units with a total capacity for 52 persons (including 4 persons with reduced mobility on the 2nd floor) and a restaurant for 98 guests, a bathroom and a kitchen. Guest rooms are located in the 2nd and 3rd floors. There are representative areas of the hotel in the form of an entrance hall with reception, areas for hotel management and a restaurant with a kitchen including social facilities for employees on the groud floor. There is a technical background of the building and maintance working room in the basement. The building comlies the requirement for low-energy standard buildings by combining a quality construction solution with thermal insulation of the building cover and other technological solitions. The overall character of the building is underlined by its architectural design in the form of partial greening of the facade. This solution is combined with large glazed areas giving a feeling of spaciousness and evocative cleanliness to the building.
The hermit colony
Jakubcová, Eva ; Plaček, Miroslav (referee) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
This construction programme deals with a hermit colony located in the western part of the Vysočina Region. This hermit colony has been established to provide accommodation for women living in this area permanently while offering an opportunity of occasional relaxation for people who are living hectic lives in urban environment. The aim of my project is to design the remaining parts of the colony, i.e. two hermitages and the community’s chapel. A hermitage is a one-storey building intended for one person only. The load-bearing walls of the individual hermitages are designed to be built from different materials (wooden and masonry constructions) whereas the elevational structures of all the buildings are to be the same. The chapel’s wall system combines stone and wood. The chapel will serve solely the purposes of the community. The main objective of my project is to respect and maintain the natural features of the landscape to the maximum extent possible.
Corporate kindergarten in Zlín
Knotek, Michal ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a low-energy corporate kindergarten with extended opening hours for the Thomas Bata Regional Hospital in Zlín. The building has one wheelchair accessible floor. It includes two separate classes for children with necessary facilities for children and staff. Envelope walls are designed from prefabricated wooden wall panels with PUR foam filing and ETICS. Internal walls are designed from ceramic blocks with clay plasters to provide heat accumulation and stable indoor environment. The superstructure is supported by strip foundations. The building has flat extensive green roof supported by timber I-beams. Energy for floor heating and domestic hot water is provided by a cascade of two air-water heat pumps and solar thermal collectors. Ventilation in the building is provided by air conditioning unit with heat recovery. Its operation is divided in two zones, kitchen and other spaces. The adjacent plot includes a garden with play elements, a stormwater storage basin with an overflow into an infiltration tank. The infiltration tank also serves for threated water from a wastewater treatment plant. Separate part of the thesis includes assessment of 2D thermal field with change proposal and evaluation of selected building structures, . The thesis is elaborated in Revit 2020, DEKSOFT and other software.
